A couple of weeks ago I had the good fortune of running into an aquaintence from my days at Green Cottage. Last week I had the even better fortune of becoming her friend! Cecilia has the most beautiful vegetable garden and sent me home with veggies and dahlias!

Those dahlia's are beautiful. A friend from church gave me a box of tubers, which I planted in a horizonal position about 4" deep, following all the instructions, then greens came up, but no flowers...they must be tricky to grow!
